Meet the teacher- Angela Clark
Angela started piecing in 2004 and purchased her first longarm in 2008. After being an award winning custom long arm quilter for five years, Angela purchased her first (of three and counting) computerized systems, and she fell in love with the capabilities that it added to her custom quilting repertoire.
Prior to longarm quilting, her career was in Computer Application Technical Support where she supported personal and professional financial software, including remote user training. Angela’s Thread Waggle Quilting business was named an APQS showroom in 2014. As she grew her customer base and started supporting more users, she saw an opportunity to combine her technical and artistic professions by publishing a weekly series of blog posts titled “Tech Sunday” where she described what she had learned about the Quilt Path software program during the previous week. After 18 months of posts, Angela used the Tech Sunday material as the basis for her first in person Quilt Path boot camp in 2014. Since then, Angela has taught over 500 students in person in her showroom in Raleigh, as a traveling teacher across the US and France, Germany, Canada and the UK, and through her online training courses.
She now has 6 longarms and 3 computer systems in her APQS showroom in Raleigh, North Carolina. When she is not filming videos on Quilt Path, teaching classes and running her showroom ,she likes to relax by piecing quilts and freehand custom quilting them.
